Orlee Buium is a Toronto-Based film editor who balances her love of film with her passion for photography and the outdoors. After graduating from the Film Arts program at Earl Haig Secondary School, she went on to complete a BFA in Film Production and Screenwriting at York University with a specialization in Editing, Cinematography and Production Management. During her years at York, she edited several short films, one of which won a CCE Student Merit Award, a defining moment that guided her decision to pursue editing. After graduating, she began working as an assistant editor with various filmmakers and editors such as –Michael McGowan, Don Carmody, Robert Lantos, Eddie Hamilton, Michelle Szemberg, Roderick Deogrades, Bryan Atkinson, and Jeff Warren.
Orlee has just completed editing "Flightless" a dramatic short film about living with anxiety directed by Annaliese Heissler.
